Aatmadeepah - Illuminating the Inner Light

Aatmadeepah is the embodiment of Dr. Kanika’s lifelong journey into spirituality, self-discovery, and holistic well-being. Inspired from a young age by the wisdom of her grandfather, Kanika’s spiritual spark was ignited early. At just nine years old, under his gentle guidance, she began practicing yoga—unfolding a path that would shape the very essence of her life.
Though she pursued a conventional career and worked in the corporate world for three years, a quiet voice within kept reminding her that fulfillment lay elsewhere. Driven by a deeper calling, she took a courageous leap—leaving behind the familiar to follow her passion for inner growth and healing.
This marked the beginning of an intensive, transformative journey. She earned a Master’s degree in Yoga Science from the University of Patanjali, Haridwar, and in 2015, moved to Chennai to begin teaching Hatha Yoga in international studios and diverse learning environments. Her quest for deeper understanding led her to SVYASA University in Bangalore, where she completed her Ph.D. in Yoga. Along the way, she cleared the UGC-NET, earned the Associate Professor qualification, secured AYUSH QCI Level-1 certification, and received a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training certification.
Yet, Kanika soon realized that physical well-being was only one part of a much larger picture. Seeking to support healing on all levels—body, mind, and energy—she immersed herself in alternative modalities like Sujok Therapy, Navel Therapy, and EFT. Her own family chose these natural systems of healing over conventional medicine, revealing to them the innate intelligence and miraculous capabilities of the human body.
In recent years, Kanika has embraced the role of a Yoga Philosophy educator, deepening her own practice while helping others explore the rich tapestry of yogic wisdom.
With over a decade of experience rooted in both tradition and innovation, she felt the time had come to create something larger than herself—a space where others could begin their own journeys of transformation.
